What is Transportable Pressure Equipment (TPED)?

(TPED) Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive – 2010/35/EU applies to manufacturers, authorized representatives, importers, distributors, operators and owners of certain types of transportable pressure equipment used for the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail and inland waterway.

Includes cylinders, tubes, and tanks intended for the transportation of gases and liquids at pressure.

Exclusions

Certain equipment, such as equipment used in military applications or specific types of nuclear reactors.
